How we create and publish our crochet patterns
Last updated: April 14, 2025 · Written by Sara
CrochetFlow is committed to publishing high-quality, accurate, and inclusive crochet content. This Editorial Policy explains the standards we hold ourselves to and how we make decisions about what we publish.
Sara designs or commissions the pattern, determining yarn weight, hook size, skill level, and finished dimensions.
The pattern is worked through in full to verify stitch counts, row instructions, and final measurements.
Instructions are written using standard crochet abbreviations and reviewed for clarity, consistency, and completeness.
The pattern is published with full materials list, tools, gauge, and any important notes.
If we receive corrections from the community, we update patterns promptly and note the change.
We welcome corrections! If you spot an error in a pattern, please email Sara at hello@crochetflow.com. We take all corrections seriously and will update the pattern as quickly as possible. Significant corrections will be noted on the pattern page.
Commercial relationships do not influence our editorial decisions. Sponsored or gifted content is clearly labelled. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
If CrochetFlow publishes guest patterns or contributions from the community, these will be clearly attributed. All guest content is reviewed by Sara before publication to ensure it meets our quality and accuracy standards.
